I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for restoring my eye sight last year with my new bi-focal contact lenses. Before coming to you, I had what is called mono-vision contact lenses and had more and more difficulty seeing well. My current doctor did not want to be bothered with bi-focal lenses despite the fact that what I had was not working from a vision standpoint and a comfort standpoint.

You told me I would get used to these new lenses in time and that they fit correctly and that is exactly what has happened. I really appreciate your patience and diligence in the fitting of my contact lenses from which I see great and they are infinitely more comfortable than what I had previously. I would recommend you to anyone!

Just wanted to thank you very much for your care and consideration.  Kudos to you and your entire office staff who were both friendly and professional!

At age 59 I was somewhat skeptical about trying contacts,  especially after the horror stories I was hearing from friends and family.  It was just like you said it would be however, and  I can't imagine how I would ever get along without them now.  The Unilens CVue that you fitted me for are so comfortable that after only a week I sometimes forget that i am wearing them! 

When faced with the prospect of needing different glasses for near, far, and in between, not to mention sunglasses for each, these bifocal lenses seemed to be the only acceptable option for my active lifestyle.  It's amazing to me that I can be watching television and at the same time working on a crossword puzzle and not need to change a thing. 

Another obstacle that you overcame was my astigmatism by fitting my right eye with a toric lens that resolves that issue.  It is slightly thicker than the other lens but, I have had absolutely no problem adjusting to it.  Actually the fact that it is different, eliminates any concern of getting the right and left lens confused.

Again thank you very, very much.  If you ever need someone for a prospective patient to talk to about the ease of usage I would be happy to relate my very pleasant experiences.

Last month I walked into Gulfcoast Eye Center, thinking that the only option left for me was Lasik Surgery. I've worn glasses for 15 years, spent over $5,000 on different prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses.  I told myself that if I had to buy one more pair of glasses I would just invest in Lasik surgery, though I hated the idea of ANY eye surgery. The risk of permanently damaging my vision had kept me from taking that step. I'd heard all the stories about people losing their vision permanently, extreme sensitivity to lights, unable to drive at night due to approaching headlights!

However, Dr. Bovio explained an alternative method. A procedure that I am proud to share
with everyone I meet who wears glasses.  It's an amazing advancement in eye care!

Contact lenses custom designed for my eyes.  I put them in at night, before I go to sleep
when I wake, I take them out. Simple.

The first night I put them in and went to bed. Next morning I took them out. After
the first night my vision went from 20/400 in each eye, to 20/20 the entire day. I was floored. Looking at every tree and actually seeing the leaves or distant signs that were clear. It was like a game! I loved it. My vision kept improving to 20/15 in only one week! 

This method, is non-surgical, non-permanent, and all natural. I love it. I never have to worry about losing the lenses because I use them like I use my toothbrush.  I don't remember the
last time I lost my toothbrush!  If I should decide I don't want to use contacts anymore, my eyes will revert to their original shape, I can return to wearing glasses. 

Perhaps some day researchers will have another non-surgical method that improves this contact lens formation, but until then, I highly recommend anyone thinking about Lasik or contact lenses, to try this! I honestly had doubts but after the very first night, I was a believer.
